Crypto Prop Firm MyFundedPerps Launches October Competition With the New iPhone Duo, MacBooks, iPhones, and More Up for Grabs

DALLAS, Oct. 5, 2026: Crypto prop firm MyFundedPerps, backed by My Funded Futures, today opened the October Competition, running October 5 to October 31, 2026. Traders pick one of three paths, Blitz ($50K), Classic ($100K), or Whale ($150K), and compete on one leaderboard ranked by account equity. Every top-100 finisher wins a Select evaluation worth up to $100K, and the top 36 also take home physical prizes, including the new iPhone Duo for first and a PS5 for second.

Three paths, three ways to win

The October Competition is built so any trading style can win, and each path has real strengths and real weaknesses.

Blitz ($50K, 4x leverage and exposure caps) is the ultra-high-risk, ultra-high-reward path: twice the position size of a standard account from day one, and firepower that grows with every win. One good trade can double the account: a single +25% win on a maxed-out position takes Blitz from $50K to $100K, and from there it trades at four times standard size, with 40x on BTC, ETH, and gold and 48x on NAS100 and the S&P 500. The weakness is the cushion: at negative $25K, Blitz is wiped out.

Classic ($100K, standard leverage) is the all-rounder: the same setup as the firm’s record-breaking Launch Competition, $50K ahead of Blitz at the start, no structural weaknesses. Whale ($150K, half leverage and half caps) is built to last: the biggest balance, $100K ahead of Blitz before anyone trades, and tough to kill, since even a full standard-account wipeout still leaves $90K. The trade-off is speed: Whale earns roughly 0.6x on the same trading, and Blitz passes it once Blitz is up $71.4K.

The math keeps every path honest: Blitz passes Classic at +$50K and Whale at +$71.4K, while Classic passes Whale at +$125K. In an illustrative replay of the Launch Competition’s top 50 (average result +$127,082 on a $100K account), the same trading finishes at $304,165 on Blitz, $227,082 on Classic, and $226,249 on Whale.

There is no profit target, no drawdown limit, and no daily loss limit, and all markets are tradable. Ties are decided by win rate, and standings count genuine, independent trading only.

Why the format is fair

Every path is open to every trader, and every path gives something up: firepower or cushion, your choice. All three compete on one leaderboard under the same rules, ranked by account equity, and one free reset per account lets traders switch paths before the window closes.

A prize table that pays 100 traders deep

Most trading competitions reward a podium. This crypto prop firm pays a hundred places. First place wins the new iPhone Duo plus a Select $100K evaluation, second wins a PS5, then M1 MacBooks, iPhone 14s, AirPods, and merch cases down to 36th, each bundled with Select evaluations. Ranks 37 through 100 win Select evaluations from $25K to $10K. In total: 36 physical prizes and 100 evaluations, with registration open until the final bell on October 31 at 12:00 PM EDT.

“Thirteen thousand traders showed up for the Launch Competition and put up fifty billion in volume,” said Granger Davig, COO of MyFundedPerps. “October is bigger, the prizes are better, and there is a path built for every style of trader. Pick your path and prove it.”

Why a crypto prop firm can run this and a CFD prop cannot

Competitions like this are only possible because of the model underneath. CFD prop firms like FTMO, FundingPips, and Blue Guardian still run multi-phase evaluations on MetaTrader-style platforms, with 40 to 50 instruments, session-hour constraints, triple swaps, and consistency rules gating payouts. MyFundedPerps runs on perpetual futures: 122 markets across five asset classes, crypto trading 24/7, one-step evaluations with no time limit or consistency rule, static drawdown, daily payouts, and an 80/20 profit split upgrading to 90/10. The same structure that simplifies the evaluations is what makes an all-markets, no-limits leaderboard fair.

MyFundedPerps CEO Matt Leech summed up the direction in a post on X on October 4: “Big improvements to the FX side of @MyFundedPerps coming. Then you won’t even need a CFD prop.” The October Competition is the first showcase of that thesis: every asset class a CFD prop offers, plus crypto around the clock, on one account and one leaderboard.
